CeylonCrafts Seller Agreement

Welcome to the CeylonCrafts Seller Programme. By registering as a seller, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.

1. Eligibility. The Seller Programme is open to individuals and registered businesses based in Sri Lanka who produce authentic, handcrafted goods. Factory-produced or mass-manufactured items are strictly prohibited.
2. Authenticity. All products listed must be genuinely handcrafted by the seller or their immediate artisan family/team. You must not list items you did not make or source without proper attribution.
3. Platform Fee. CeylonCrafts charges an 8% commission on every completed sale. This fee covers payment processing, buyer protection, platform maintenance, and global marketing. There are no monthly subscription fees.
4. Listing Standards. All listings must include accurate descriptions, clear photographs, and honest pricing. Misrepresentation of products may result in immediate account suspension.
5. Shipping & Fulfilment. Sellers are responsible for packaging and dispatching orders within the agreed handling time. CeylonCrafts may facilitate logistics partners, but the responsibility of dispatch lies with the seller unless a fulfilment service is used.
6. Returns & Refunds. You agree to honour the CeylonCrafts return policy for any defective, damaged, or significantly mis-described items. Disputes will be mediated by CeylonCrafts and the final decision shall be binding.
7. Identity Verification. You consent to CeylonCrafts verifying your identity documents as part of the seller onboarding process. Your documents are stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
8. Intellectual Property. You confirm that you own the intellectual property rights to all products and photographs you upload and indemnify CeylonCrafts against any third-party IP claims.
9. Prohibited Items. Counterfeit goods, protected wildlife products, pornographic material, weapons, or any item prohibited by Sri Lankan law may not be listed. Violations will result in permanent account termination and possible legal action.
10. Account Suspension. CeylonCrafts reserves the right to suspend or terminate any seller account found in violation of these terms at any time without prior notice.
11. Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo.
12. Amendments. CeylonCrafts may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the seller platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
